Brand ID - VOSS
In the Brand ID project we decided to work with the Norwegian water brand VOSS. Our idea was to make a unique and exclusive dress which would be auctioned off in order to make a profit for the VOSS foundation.
The feel of Norway and nature is what we used as our inspiration throughout the whole project and incorporated into our stand with the background and the table with water.
During the project my job was to make sure all loose ends was tied up and that a everything was coherent. However some of the communication sometimes got misunderstood but in the end we managed to understand one another and make a great project.
Style History - Grunge + Yuppie
For the Style history project our goal was to define and contrast the times "grunge" and "yuppie". It was clear to us very soon that was before in history has been known as a fashion style has now become a lifestyle.
As a big fan of grunge I was the only one the group aware of what it was exactly. Also as a huge fan of fashion history this project interested me more than others.
Personally I'm not a big fan of group work so when I have to do it I have a tendency to put people to work when they don't speak up. I like to know what's going on and how far we are.
BIZZ project - CLIPPER A/S
In the BIZZ project I did the project on the Danish corporate wear company CLIPPER A/S.
Since it was the first time we were introduced to the BMC model we decided to split it up and then sit and read everything together. A lot of time went by like that and if we had been introduced to it before, the project had looked a whole lot different.
In an international environment such as the one at TEKO you have to keep in mind that people are from all kinds of backgrounds and not everybody knows what you do. During the BIZZ we figured out that almost nobody had ever written an report before. I was one of the few who had due to my past as an IB student. To me it was a bit annoying but instead of being negative and told them from my group who hadn't written a report before how to do to it with the help from another group member.
